Personalized Brass Plates

Here’s a great way to add a personal touch to your present and memorialize the special day. We’ll engrave your message on a 1” x 3 ½” leaded brass plates and mount it onto your handcrafted jewelry box. Just choose the Brass Plate option along with your jewelry box, and you’ll be guided through the process in the shopping cart.

Here’s the details:

• We need 24 hours to engrave and install the plate.
• We’ll place the plate in a subtly visible location depending upon the design – unless you request a more prominent location.
• Up to 3 lines of message, each line allows 30 characters. Fewer lines makes the fonts larger and more legible.
• Once we’ve attached the plate to your jewelry box, you can only get a partial refund on returns. Read at the bottom for details – You can also request to mount the plate yourself in order to eliminate this issue.

Special Note on Monograms and Initials

Monograms are engraved first name initial (to the left), last name initial (centered and larger), middle name initial (to the right). This accentuates the last name.

Initials are engraved with first name initial ( to the left), middle name (in the center) last name initial (to the right). Initials are all engraved in the same font size.

Jewelry Boxes Returned with Brass Plates

Our customers really appreciate our work. In fact, we get about 1% returns. However, if that box has a brass plate we’re stuck with the screw holes. We have to wait for the next customer who wants that exact jewelry box with a brass plate. That can take way too long, so here’s what we do.

We’ll refund you minus the full cost of the brass plate and 15% of the jewelry box.

If you’re not sure if you’ve found the perfect jewelry box, you can hold off on the brass plate or ask to mount the plate yourself. It takes two 1/16 holes and 10 minutes. In either case you can eliminate any concerns you may have.
