In all his designs, what stands out are the incredible quality of his woods and the detail of his styling. On the sides of his boxes, his designs feature Bubinga, a dark rich African wood, and American Black. On the tops, he chooses stunning woods – Madrone Burl, Quilted Maple, Birdseye Maple and Bubinga Burl – called Kewazingo. He trims the tops with subtle, and sometimes bold, Maple, Bloodwood and Cocobolo to create incredible detail touches. Last he machines meticulous pulls of Bloodwood, Bubinga, Maple and Cocobolo.
